Missouri Judge Rules that Incarcerated Women Retain Their Constitutional Right to Choose

On Tuesday, July 18, a Missouri Judge ruled that the state must transport female prisoners who seek abortion to facilities where the procedure is provided. While the prisoner is responsible for the cost of the procedure, the state must escort her to the appointment.
